The Black Rectangle

The Big H, The Big Holy, The Man Upstairs, The Big G, you remember him, or her, or both, or actually nothing like that at all. God, is light, pure bright white light, better than love, better than anything at all, in fact, God feels like home. Now, you may wonder, how do you see God, well, in the morning, in the early light, or just before dawn, or even earlier, wake, rise and perform your ablutions, have something to eat if you want, close your eyes, in the silence, in the dark, and relax. Do this for a few minutes each day, every day, and with each and every day, the allotted time will increase, little by little. When you feel like stopping, stop, then practice the next day, do this with commitment, and make it a must, for, to have success, you must have perseverance, without perseverance you will never reach success, you will never reach the lofty heights of attaining that level where you are able to see God, The Master Architect, The Almighty, The Lord of Hosts, The All That Is, Ever Will Be, For All Time To Come. Once you see God, your life will change in ways that you could never foresee, your life will change for the better, your fortunes will increase, and by that I do not mean by a simple monetary value, by that I mean your health will improve, and as has been said before, long ago, Health is The First Wealth, for without Health, you have nothing but sickness, despair and decay. Once you practice your meditation, or contemplation, you will soon reach the state of Sunyata, The Void, The Emptiness, The Absolute, The Empty Mind, free from thought, from doubt, from fear, from struggle and survival, free from the daily worries that occupy the minds of men and women everywhere, children do not have this concern, they have not attained adulthood, for when you reach adulthood, your mind is besieged by thoughts that occupy every moment of every day, and once that happens, you seek out that which will occupy your mind, to free you from those very thoughts that are driving you crazy throughout your entire day and night. So in fruitless desperation, you turn to The Black Rectangle, that hideous appliance that sits in the room of relaxation, where you worship that device, day and night, every night, for years and years and years, until you die. Never tasting the fruits of The Earth, always sitting in constant devotion, eyes glued to the box, until they ache, until you long for bed, but you want to watch just another ten minutes or so, until you find yourself awake at three in the morning, and then, and only then, you finally drag yourself to bed, and when you rise, you are tired, drained of all energy and emotion, you are lethargic throughout the day, your work suffers, and you tire of your daily commitment, till the day arrives, when your boss, gives you the sack. Then you are out on the breadline, looking for work, living on benefits, until you gain another job, then the same old dull routine starts over again. Then, many years later, you finally reach your grave, having wasted your whole life, worshipping The Black Rectangle.
